HTC One X, One X+ Android 4.2, Sense 5 update now available in the UK

02:49
Following the release of the Android 4.2 update for the HTC One X across mainland Europe, HTC is now pushing out the update to HTC One X and HTC One X+ in the UK. New features include all the usual Android 4.2 goodies along with dozens of new features which are baked into HTC Sense 5. Installing the 406 MB update will essentially deliver a brand new software experience on the HTC One X and One X+ which includes Blinkfeed, Video Highlights, a half dozen new stock apps, lock screen widgets, home button customization (long press for menu, swipe up to launch Google Now), quick settings in the notification shade, advanced notifications and much more.
The update is still trickling out to a few countries in Europe, but we’re hoping HTC will now turn its focus west and find a way to deliver the update in the US in a timely fashion. AT&T and HTC better not take an additional three and a half month to release Android 4.2 as they did with the Android 4.1 update for the One X.
