After releasing the 1.29.1540.16 software update for the HTC One Developer Edition a few weeks back, HTCDev has now shared the RUU which can be downloaded from its website. The fact that HTC has posed the new RUU for the HTC One Developer Edition shouldn’t mean much to the average consumer, but developers and tweakers will be able to use it as a clean build for custom ROMs for the device.
While the HTC One is still running Android 4.1.2, HTC has managed to roll out system updates to its phones on T-Mobile, Sprint and AT&T to improve the performance. We do not know how soon the HTC One Android 4.2.2 update will be pushed out to devices across the globe, but we’re sure all HTC one owners will be pleased with all the new features and tweaks which will be included.
