HTC Butterfly S oddity revealed – touchscreen works with a fork

09:31
The HTC Butterfly S is a bit of an oddball. The phone it’s not means be HTC’s flagship device, but it outshines the One in almost every category. It has a larger display, faster processor, and a massive 3,200 mAh battery. The only thing that’s really missing a optical image stabilization in the camera.
But as it turns out, the Butterfly S’ mixed messaging isn’t the oddest thing about the device. Our friends at Hub FR (formerly HTC Hub) have discovered that the display on the HTC Butterfly S is responsive to metal object – particularly a fork. We’re not sure if the touch layer laminated to the glass is defective or simply improperly tuned, but we like the idea of being able to use different input tools with our phones. Take a look at the video below to see how the Butterfly S gets along with a fork.
