With the recent announcement that the HTC One would be heading to Verizon this summer, C Spire must have been feeling the pressure to add the best phone of 2013 to its lineup. With a random forum post on its website, C Spire announced that its customers will soon be able to purchase the HTC One. Pricing and launch date were not mentioned, but C Spire customers were told to hold tight for C Spire to share “more details in the near future.”
C Spire is a regional service provider which operated in Mississippi, Tennessee, Florida, Georgia and Alabama with approximately 900,000 customers. The HTC One on C Spire will be going head-to-head with the Samsung Galaxy S4 which is priced at $199.99 with a two-year contract. We don’t expect this announcement to have a huge effect on sales of the HTC One or HTC’s bottom line, but the company can use any help it can get.
