HTC Butterfly S poses for the camera before June 19th unveiling

22:02
With less than a week to go before the official unveiling of the HTC Butterfly S in Taiwan on June 19th, the phone has made its unofficial photo debut thanks to VR-Zone. On the surface, the HTC Butterfly S looks like last year’s HTC Butterfly/HTC Droid DNA with an extra speaker below the display, but the device is rumored to feature the same 1.7GHz quad-core Snapdragon 600 processor as the HTC One, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of storage, a microSD card slot and a 5-inch 1080p display.
The images show an exposed microUSB charging post on the bottom of the phone, a subtle clue which indicates that the HTC Butterfly S may not be water resistant like the device it would be replacing. We do not know when the HTC Butterfly S will be showing up in store shelves, but some sources claim that the handset will carry a 20,000 Taiwan dollars (roughly $670 USB) when it does.
