Kreyos has officially announced their smartwatch called Meteor and boy does it look like a shining star! The company launched a Facebook campaign not too long ago and it was enough to catch our eye. Now we are anxiously awaiting its arrival on Earth as the fundraising campaign went live early this morning.
The Kreyos Meteor smartwatch boasts a bunch of features; some we have seen in the first generation of smartwatches, but also some we have never seen in a realistic watch before like a mic and speaker for voice recognition, audio playback… even answering calls from your phone right on your wrist. Holy Star Trek, Batman! The Meteor also struts gesture-based controls so you can change tunes while running with the flick of your wrist. This smartwatch is waterproof, syncs with your phone via Bluetooth, and even stores personal data when not connected to your phone. Also worthy of note, is that this watch is not an assistant to your phone; it is way more than that. You can use the Kreyos Meteor even if you don’t own a smartphone and it will act as a pedometer, baseball/golf swing analyzer and even a range finder while you’re out on the green.
